The Sweepstakes will be divided into fifteen (15) entry periods, one (1) for each day of the Sweepstakes Period. For the purposes of these Official Rules, a “day” is defined as the twenty-four (24) hour period between 12:01 a.m. ET and 11:59 p.m. ET, except for the first day, which will begin at 10:00 a.m. ET and the last day, which will end at 5:00 p.m. ET.

3. During the Third Tier of Judging in the Samsung’s Four Seasons of Hope 2009 Education Essay Contest, the top twenty-one (21) finalist entries will be featured at www.fourseasonsofhope.com/education for public voting. Participants can vote for their favorite finalist essay from among those posted in order to receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. Participants may vote up to five (5) times per day during the Sweepstakes Period but will only receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes for the first vote cast each day. First-time participants will be required to register by entering their first and last name, e-mail address, phone number (including area code) and zip code (registration is free). Upon registering, first-time participants will receive a validation e-mail delivered to the provided e-mail address and must validate by clicking on the link provided in the email. If validation does not occur, the participant’s vote(s) will not count and the participant will not receive an entry into the Sweepstakes. Submission of erroneous or incomplete informa¬tion will void the submitted registration. Limit one (1) registration per person and per e-mail address. Multiple registrations received from any person or email address in excess of the stated limitation will be void. Subsequent votes after the first vote will only require submission of registered e-mail address. All entries/votes must be received by the deadline for the applicable day to be eligible for that drawing. Limit one (1) entry per person and per email address per day during the Sweepstakes Period. If multiple entries are received in excess of stated limitation from any person/e-mail address on any given day, only the first entry by that participant will be valid. All entries/votes become the property of the Sponsor (as defined below) and will not be acknowledged or returned. Should multiple users of the same e-mail account enter the Sweepstakes and a dispute thereafter arises regarding the identity of the entrant, the authorized account subscriber of said e-mail account at the time of entry will be considered the entrant and required to comply with these Official Rules and all requirements set forth herein. “Authorized account subscriber” is defined as the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization, which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
